THE BOYS: SEASON 2

It all started with a bang, some eye rolls, and a whole lotta fucks…

For THE BOYS second season, we really wanted to give their rabid fanbase something to sink their teeth into. We designed everything with their social audience in mind.

We saw that season 1  assets performed best when leaning into the comedy, profanity and violence. So we leaned in too — applying this tone to our date announce, trailers and social.

Season 2 had the added challenge of a weekly release (S1 was dropped on one day). So how did we keep the audience engaged week to week? We came up with a concept, aptly named “Superf*cks”, to give the fans EXACTLY what they wanted: a weekly tune-in series that teased all the amazingly outrageous NSFW moments in the upcoming episode.

RESULTS: Season 2 of The Boys doubled its viewership, breaking records set by STRANGER THINGS and THE MANDALORIAN.
